Stephanie and I were so excited when we first met Haley to discuss being her Cheyenne wedding photographer. Haley and David were planning to get married at St. Mary’s Cathedral followed by a reception at the Kiwanis Community House . Photographing a ceremony in the cathedral at St. Mary’s is always incredibly beautiful and after our meeting we knew that working with these two was going to be an absolutely perfect fit!
Haley expressed to us multiple times just how important photos from her wedding were to her. She was looking for a Cheyenne wedding photographer who could creatively and uniquely document her special day in a way that helped her remember the exact way she was feeling in those moments. Fortunately for us, their wedding day was amazing and made that job so much easier.
Haley and David, we had a blast with you both! Thank you so much for trusting us to document this day. Thanks for allowing us to be creative and thanks THE MOST for putting a bowtie in your puppy! A few years ago I became a bowtie guy. So naturally I enjoy when our grooms wear a bowtie for their wedding day.
David appeared to be unusually calm while getting ready for the ceremony…
…especially having a camera and lens so close while he was getting ready! LOL!
There is a moment when all the chaos stops, the room is quiet and the groom is left to himself and his thoughts. We love documenting the serenity in THESE moments!
Haley’s dress was AMAZING and her choice in shoes and jewelry was so simply elegant.
I know just how much thought goes into choosing the perfect pair of shoes on your wedding day!
Absolutely LOVE the getting ready process! Look how beautiful Haley is in that dress! Often times, the time while getting ready is when thoughts are racing and our clients are imagining the day, walking down the aisle, etc.

David and his guys wanted to take a few photos to remember that he married Haley in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

We want our images to be different than any other Cheyenne wedding photographer. Even when photographing in the most well known places, finding unique ways to photograph is so important!
Haley was stunning. Nothing more to say.
There is something so romantic about the look that a new husband and wife will give each other immediately following their ceremony.
Getting Haley and David away from the craziness of the wedding day so that they could focus on each other proved to be a wise descision.
And allowing them to focus on each other led to some magical moments between the two of them.
The happy couple, newly married and ready to begin their life together.
I remember Stephanie telling me how pretty and joyful she thought Haley is in this photo.
It seemed that anytime we posed these two lovebirds anywhere close to each other and let them interact, that is when we were able to capture these genuine moments.
Beautiful bride. Beautiful rings. Beautiful flowers. Being a Cheyenne wedding photographer with these three things is pretty easy.

…that surprisingly becomes something different than expected and choreographed?

After the first dance were the toasts by the best man…
…and the maid of honor. Such a great balance of humor and emotion in the story telling of these friends.
The look you would expect one to give her best friend and maid of honor as they relive important times in their friendship.
The reliving of those moments is an amazing thing to get to witness and document.

Haley’s dad waited until after the toasts for his special dance with his daughter.
As a dad myself, I envision this moment with MY daughter every wedding Stephanie and I photograph!
David’s mom was able to share a special dance with him as well.
Absolutely love the embrace that typically follows a dance like this.
The evening events ended with the “shoe game”! If you are familiar with this game, you will notice that both Haley and David are raising both shoes in answer to the question; a good start to marriage, right?
