With every Ivinson Mansion wedding we know that we are in for a treat… Alexis and Clay however planned the absolute perfect day. From each elegant and classic detail of their decor, to the choices they made in wedding attire everything was so timeless. Their wedding was filled with sweet emotion filled moments and we really loved how they chose to honor those who were special to them on a day that traditionally is all about the bride and groom. Getting ready is so different for the Bride and Groom on the day of. What is like a 3 hour process for us ladies goes by in just a moment for the gentleman…
Still it is so important to the STORY of the day to not only see how the Bride spent her morning but also the GROOM.
I feel like the Groom’s part of getting ready is more about comradery with their friends and family.
Alexis has such an amazing eye when it comes to wedding accessories. LOVED her dress, the lacy pattern on it was stunning and so unique! It reminded me a bit of Elisa’s gown for their big day.
Can we just take a moment to adore these shoes? Beautiful pearl detailing totally makes them as beautiful as she is!
For every Ivinson Mansion there is a choice to be made for the Bride and her getting ready. Their bridal suit is lovely, however when we photograph there we choose to do most of the things in the hall taking advantage of the gorgeous window light streaming in from the door!
So you see that lace scalloping and pearl detail work? If you are going to have an Ivinson Mansion wedding I feel like vintage is a must. Alexis definitely understood the assignment!
So classic in black and white, these images are so timeless.
I even love the vintage feel of the carpet they have used in the space. Every Ivinson Mansion wedding has this old Hollywood glam like you’ve traveled back in time for sure.
Not only can you use the grounds for a beautiful outdoor option but with your reservation you also get the Alice Hardie Stevens Center as well. This gorgeous historic space still includes the original bar but also has all the modern elegance and open space thanks to the facility’s major upgrade a few years ago.
Pensive groom moment’s are always our FAVE. You can just feel Clay’s anticipation for seeing his bride.
This Ivinson Mansion wedding included an amazing moment, where across the lawn Alexis and her Dad made a dramatic entrance.
Every part of this Ivinson Mansion wedding was GORGEOUS but the ceremony especially so.
Perfection, even with her Dad taking a breath as he gives away his little girl.
That look, the one reserved for the man of her dreams…
The colors these two selected for their bridal party were so elegant and perfect.
The light was absolutely amazing for this moment to be captured.
Officially Mr. & Mrs…
A little bit vintage and a lot of bit classic, their selection of attire was perfection. Even down to the bow ties, we loved it so much.
What a beautiful blush color that made everyone look amazing!
How dapper are these gentleman, especially for an Ivinson Mansion wedding? Clay has such amazing taste, both in friends and attire.
This is so much more than a photo, it is a moment. After the hustle and bustle of photos has come to an end. Photographers using their zoom lenses means these two get to just pause, breathe and take it all in.
Throughout their bridal formals Alexis would tease us about how many compliments Clay got on their engagement session. I don’t want to steal his thunder but look at this girl! She is absolutely the picture of loveliness.
We really couldn’t help but share so many images in black and white from this Ivinson Mansion wedding. These two could be stars on the silver screen don’t you think?
God gave us the most exceptionally lovely golden hour light for their portraits. Lost in the gardens of the Mansion, getting fabulous images of these two was super easy for us.
Something about a black tux with a bow tie is always a good choice! Clay was rocking his classic attire for sure.
When the light thinks the bride is just as beautiful as you do, that veil though!
These two do romance so well, don’t you think?
I feel like we should title this something totally cheesy like ‘Walking into their forever’ right?
Clay clearly understood the assignment when we recommended a dip for photos.
Clay provided the romance and God provided the amazing light, secret to a photo at this Ivinson Mansion wedding.
The happiness is just beaming in this photo.
Everywhere you turn on this amazing property is so lovely!
Love the colors and textures Alexis chose for her bouquet from Poppys!
Loved this sweet remembrance included in her bouquet.
Wow is all we can say, Clay clearly did very well with picking out her ring.
Alexis’ Dad was so proud of these cuff links, what a beautiful gift from his daughter.
Every detail was just begging to be photographed.
An Ivinson Mansion wedding AND cupcakes from Sugar Mouse Cupcake House? We are too spoiled for sure….
Love that these two actually toasted to one another. We haven’t ever seen this done. It was so special.
It was so amazing how many wonderful things their friends and families had to share.
The toast from Alexis’ Dad was one of the highlights of the night for sure.
She just looked like a proud little girl listening to her Daddy beam about memories of her.
Speech after speech you could just feel how much of an impact they had in the lives of others.
Didn’t they choose some amazing decor for their reception. Their first dance was a WOW for sure.
Sweet hand in hand moment.
There is that dip once again, and yes Clay still totally has it in check!
They enjoyed a special dance with both Clay’s Mom and Alexis’ Dad at the same time.
Loved seeing each special person in their life honored.
Photo booth Shenanigans…
