As wedding photographers in Laramie Wyoming we are so blessed to capture beautiful engagement photos for so many amazing couples. When we first met Doc and Amanda they absolutely killed their engagement session. So head over heels for one another, their engagement photos were perfect and full of happiness and passion. We loved working with them and loved hearing all about the beautiful wedding they had planned in New York. Before having kids Rick and I used to travel all over the country photographing weddings. Even though we are now primarily wedding photographers in Laramie Wyoming we were absolutely thrilled when they decided to also have us capture the day they said ‘I DO.’
Their wedding day was at the most beautiful vineyard. Lines of beautiful grapes, stone work buildings and don’t even get us started on the rustic Italian countryside decor. It was the perfect place for their perfect day and we are so happy to have captured it all for them!
The weather on their wedding day was less than desirable for sure. These two planned an outdoor ceremony and the rain drizzled down the whole time. The thin about true love however is that when you are marrying your best friend, it doesn’t matter what the weather is on your wedding day. Everything is absolutely perfect because you are walking down the aisle to your forever life with the person who loves you most of all. Not only did they proceed with their outdoor ceremony but they also headed out into the rain for their bridal portraits. I know I WAS FREEZING and not even in a wedding dress so I imagine Amanda’s was like an icicle for sure. She never complained, never wanted a break and braved the weather for some of the most beautiful wedding images we’ve ever captured.

It actually rained the entire day of their wedding. They were able to have their ceremony under this gorgeous pergola to keep guests dry.

As wedding photographers in Laramie Wyoming we deal with a lot of weather. Around our neck of the woods it is mostly snow and wind we battle. It rained nearly the entire day for Doc & Amanda’s wedding, but it did make for some epic photos!
Amanda’s Maid of Honor was such a sweetheart. She made sure Amanda had everything she needed to have her dream wedding.
Amanda & Doc have such great style. Their bridal party was outfitted to the nines and everyone’s attire was so timeless and elegant.

We might be the only wedding photographers in Laramie Wyoming that love to create non traditional bridal party portraits. We do from time to time stack the ladies on one side and the guys on the other but primarily we love to photograph these a bit more dramatic.

Even though it rained the entire day, Amanda & Doc were totally up for heading out to the vineyard for bridal portraits. We found the cutest umbrella and made a go of Bride & Groom portraits in the drizzle.
