ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHERS LARAMIE WY | Kathryn & Rylan

When it comes to engagement photographers Laramie WY has many many options to choose from. Rick and I love to share the kind of work that will speak to clients who have the same affection for real timeless emotion filled images. Meet Kathryn and Rylan, they are head over heels for each other, laid back and easy going, oh and did we mention they are a PERFECT FIT as far as clients go?

We met up with them to explore some of our FAVORITE summer sunshine filled locations in between Laramie and Cheyenne. These two asked if it might be OK to do a few of their photos with their dogs to which we answered YES please. They were not only adorable dogs but also so well behaved. Typically I will take the portrait and Rick will be behind me whistling or trying to get their attention. These pups were super interested and needed no additional focus. They sat so pretty and we really couldn’t have asked for better canine clients.

When it comes to engagement photos, Rick and I place a high priority on allowing our couples to be themselves. If they are a super romantic couple, we would never attempt to portray them as playful. If they make each other laugh and giggle, we would never want to spend their whole session trying to pose them like they were super serious Calvin Klein models. Our goal is for Kathryn & Rylan’s friends and family to see their engagement photos and say ‘these are so them!’. Their love should be up front and center and we really hope that our images did it justice.

I think what we loved the most about these two was just how up for anything they were. Rylan is super funny and although he admittedly did not like having his photo taken he also (admittedly) was head over heels in love with Kathryn and thus humored us. It wasn’t too long however until he was laughing, joking and suggesting poses. It really means the world to us when our clients ENJOY their time being photographed vs just suffering through it to check it off of their wedding to do list.

Kathryn & Rylan, we had so much fun with you. Thank you for being adventurous and willing to let us walk you all over southern WY as we visited some of our favorite spots. Your love is so inspiring and it was absolutely our honor to try to capture that love in images. As we get closer and closer to your big day we cannot help but wish for more of the gorgeous sunshine you brought with you to make an appearance on your wedding day too! If you could just go ahead and work that out for us we would so appreciate it lol! July will be here before you know it and we cannot wait to capture every little detail for you! Kathryn and Rylan were so laid back and wonderful during their photo shoot. When is comes to engagement photographers Laramie has a lot of great options. We are so happy they chose us and we get to work with these two for their engagement and wedding photos!

Love that they brought their pups with them! We always knew that our clients often times considered their dogs important members of their family. Now that we have a cute little cockapoo of our own we totally get it and love to include any and all fur babies!

The sunshine was out in full force and absolutely stunning for their session. For engagement photographers Laramie WY boasts some of the absolute best weather in the Summer and Fall. Love a cool breeze and warm sun! It was absolutely the perfect weather for photographing these two lovebirds!

We just adored how authentic Kathryn & Rylan’s love for each other is… We would give them some space and just let the magic happen. Giggling, cuddling and just getting lost in each other. They made our job SO easy!

So so so in love with Kathryn’s ring. It was so stunning and very unique. In our fourteen years of photographing wedding rings I have yet to see anything in this design. I just thought the way the band wrapped around the center stone was so different. We also don’t see a lot of double pronged settings (wonder why?!) Ok so I will totally stop photography geeking out over her engagement ring but I do have to say Rylan, you did so good!

Isn’t Kathryn’s beautiful smile just infectious? Love how when we would have her lean in really close to her fiance she would just light up and smile from ear to ear. As engagement photographers Laramie WY has some of the most amazing clients for sure! Meeting these two was a lot of fun and we cannot wait to spend more time with them on their big day! Don’t look now but it totally looks like we captured a smile from Rylan too!

LOVE us some classic black and white portraiture! Something just so timeless and romantic about this style. Who doesn’t want a true love that looks at them the way Kathryn is looking at Rylan in this one! When we come across photos like these I like to think of what their future grandchildren might think of it. Would they ooh and aah over how pretty Kathryn is? There is definitely no doubt in mind that they totally would!

More and more gorgeous sunshine? I can’t! Wish we could have this kind of light for every session. Especially happy that we had it for their session though. They are too much fun and we really wanted their engagement photos to be exceptional!
