As Jackson Hole wedding photographers we definitely know all about how beautiful Grand Teton National park is when it comes to planning a wedding. Not all Wyoming weddings are rustic like our last blog post featuring a wedding at Deerwood Ranch. Devon and Sam have impeccable taste not only in marriage partners but also in wedding planning!
These two planned a quaint, intimate, luxurious wedding in the heart of the Tetons. There was a beautiful Fall color palette carried throughout and their completely see through tented reception was something we will never forget. Tinted stemware, the cutest RV Camper photo booth and did we even mention their LIVE MUSIC? These two thought of everything and it was such a perfect day for sure.
We cannot wait to show you a few of our favorite images from their wedding. So without further ado…
As Jackson Hole wedding photographers we see a lot of clients getting ready in hotels. Devon however is a Wyoming girl and had the luxury of getting ready at her home.
Hair & Makeup came to her and that made for such a laid back and relaxing vibe.
It definitely was a perk that they have so much amazing window light in their home.
These two have adorable dogs and they were so laid back and good. It was neat to see them at Devon’s side throughout the morning.
This is always such a special time. The hustle and bustle of hair and makeup is through and it is finally time to get into the dress. This is usually when everything becomes real.
Aren’t her shoes so fabulous!
These two absolutely love their fur babies so it was only fitting that they be there as Devon got her dress on.
Aren’t these the cutest cake toppers ever. In case you are wondering here are their adorable puppos for comparison.
While I spent the morning with the bride, Rick captured Sam as he got ready for his big day.
So many of his friends were their to help him with every detail.
Isn’t this photo so elegant, classic and timeless? You never would have known that…
…these shenanigans were going on in the bath tub! Jackson Hole wedding photographers like us LOVE a bit of documentary style images.
How many groomsmen CAN you fit into this bath tub?
The reflection is everything in this one. That bowtie is so perfect.
These two had their first look in one of our FAVORITE spots in Grand Teton National Park. We had a perfect view of the Tetons!
After the first look has come and gone we like to give our couples a bit of space to just take it all in and enjoy each others company.
These two are just too cute!
Of course we brought their puppos along, and of course they wore their own bowties! It is a special occasion after all!
Ever wonder if Jackson Hole wedding photographers get tired of this view? The answer is no and never!
Don’t you just love the detail work in the trip of Devon’s dress. Love how she so effortlessly draped it across her arm for this portrait.
Even in the middle of an entire National Park, these two were so lost in one another.
I just loved her bouquet. The floral and colors she chose for their big day were so Fall…
Sam has this certain smile, reserved only for her. Each time we would have them lean in close it would appear and that detail was everything.
Fall even down to his boutonniere. As Jackson Hole wedding photographers we have photographed in the park during all seasons. I do say that Fall has got to be our FAVE.
Can we just talk about all the lush greenery at this locations? We loved getting to focus not only on the Tetons but also Wyoming’s natural beauty as well.
Oh who are we kidding do you see THE TETONS!!!
Devon and her babies were so adorable.
After their first look she chose to also do a first look with her father. It was emotion filled for sure.
These two planned their ceremony in an open field not to far from their home. It was absolutely perfect and because it wasn’t a part of the park there were no distracting tourists to take away from their privacy.
Love that they both chose to walk down with both their parents.
Isn’t their wedding altar so drool worthy? This is what entire wedding Pinterest boards are made of for sure!
Devon’s father officiated the ceremony…
It was so heart felt and personal.
God gifted us the most exceptional light. Don’t you just love the way she looked at him during their vows?
I even love the little detail of having a vintage rug where they stood to say I DO.
Once again ladies and gentleman… THE TETONS. No Jackson Hole wedding photographers never get enough lol.
Sam looked so dapper during the ceremony.
The exchanging of rings…
Sealing it with a kiss and introduced as the new Mr & Mrs.
The backyard cocktail hour they planned was so lovely!
Love how again the incorporated their pups and their images throughout.
What cocktail hour would be complete without a photo booth? These two had a photo booth van set up with plenty of film!
The musicians who played during their ceremony also continued their beautiful performance through cocktail hour.
This was a first for us… As Jackson Hole wyoming wedding photographers we see plenty of tented receptions. Never however have we seen a tent that was entirely see through. Views of the Tetons, Views of the stars, this is totally a must from now on!
Fall details and color carried throughout their reception decor.
Their place holders were so beautifully hand written.
The vintage glassware they chose elevated the sense of occasion.
We don’t often see colored stemware so it definitely made for delightful photos.
There are those adorable cake toppers!
Loved the texture of the pampas grass used in the decor. Decided it would be lovely for their ring shot!
Toasts under the stars…
Each one was so heartfelt…
It was especially touching that each toaster shared stories of the happy couple.
They decided to open the mic and it was such a good idea as other guests wanted to say their congrats as well.
We always try to include the bride and grooms reaction while being toasted. Makes for such a complete story of those moments for sure.
First Dance as husband and wife…
I really don’t think these two could look any happier.
Father and Daughter dance was such a treat.
During the Mother and Son dance it soon became apparent where Sam got his infectious smile from.
Their reception soon gave way to a party complete with a live band. What an exceptional way to end the perfect day!
