We are SO excited to share Phoebe & Nate’s Laramie wedding with you! These two planned a fun, emotion filled BEAUTIFUL wedding as unique as they are. Love seeing their love story and personalities just shine through on their big day! Rick and I love what we do and photographing for these two on their wedding day was no exception.
Most of all however we loved how Phoebe & Nate let us in to their world. They were at home in front of our lenses and allowed us to capture intimate, special, timeless moments for them. It was our absolute honor to be there to capture every detail for them to remember!
What is a blog post without some gorgeous images? Here is their story, in photos…
Phoebe had a style all her own. Loved the soft feminine details she chose and the way she complimented them with pieces that showed off her personality as well.
Her hair and makeup was done by Monika, owner of Palatium Hair Studio in downtown Laramie. We absolute loved the laid back effortless feel that she created for this Laramie wedding.
She got ready at the cutest little AirBNB right across from their reception location. It was so quaint and perfect for her and her girls!
Phoebe is always lovely, but especially so on her wedding day. She was absolutely radiant…
These two chose to say I DO with a ceremony at the Hynds Lodge Amphitheater in Curt Gowdy State Park. The bride and her bridesmaids rode their in style, taking a stretch limousine!
While I photograph the ladies as they get ready, Rick photographs the groom and his guys. This has got to be one of my favorite things about the coverage that we offer. Sometimes I feel like wedding photography only shows the story of the bride. For their Laramie wedding not only did we see what Phoebe was up to but also took some really timeless photos of Nate getting I DO ready as well!
Black and white photography is just so classic for these types of photos.
When it comes to planning a Laramie wedding, bride’s have so many amazing venue options. There is just something about Hynds Lodge Amphitheater however. There is this gorgeous staircase the bride ascends down to meet her father. In this case, Phoebe had not just one but TWO proud gentleman waiting to walk her down the aisle.
Absolutely love the way Nate just lit up as soon as he saw his bride for the first time.
Isn’t her dress absolutely stunning? Love all of the lace detail.
This has got to be one of our favorite photos of a grooms reaction to his bride. Love it when our clients forget we are there, feel the way a moment feels and allow us to capture it in a photograph. No doubt when he looks back upon this photo, he will undoubtedly remember how this moment FELT, instead of merely how it looked.
Don’t you just absolutely love the color palette for this Laramie wedding? SO fall and lovely, especially at this venue!
These two only had eyes for one another. Love how they just seem to have gotten lost in each other evening during a ceremony with a hundred plus in attendance.
Isn’t her nose scrunch just the cutest. SO happy that this was captured on film!
When clients choose to include their fur babies it is such a treat. What an adorable and super well behaved puppo!
Ok on a side note how cool is it that Nate and all his guys rocked JEANS? Love how WY that is, this should totally be a must for every Laramie wedding!
Something about the gentle way these two are just lost in the moment is everything in this one.
This is so cute, love this photo of the new husband and wife coming back down the aisle as one.
Who says family photos are only for your ‘people’ family members. These two wanted a photo with their pup and of course we were totally on board! What a cool request!
Again with all the gorgeous Fall colors, this Laramie wedding was so perfect. Phoebe and all of her ladies posing for a portrait…
Not to be outdone lets give some props to Nate and his guys. They look so cool here.
We always ask our bride’s preference for the photo of their bridal party. Some love traditional style photos with the guys on one side and the girls on the other. Sometimes they mix it up and we have ladies and gentlemen on both sides. Our FAVE style however is when we can utilize unique poses for each couple, vary their depths and create sometime truly unique.
A total first for us, these two chose to share private vows AFTER their ceremony. After choosing the most picturesque location for their Laramie wedding, it didn’t take long for us to find the perfect spot for this moment.
There among the majestic Vedauwoo rock, they ready their own words to one another.
Typically during this type of moment we use longer lenses. This allows us to be able to take up close and personal shots without actually being too close to the couple.
I truly believe this is the only way to capture the real moments, the raw emotion. As photographers it isn’t our job to create images of what we think this Laramie wedding looked like. Rather it is our honor to wait, eyes open and cameras ready to help capture the way it really happened and more importantly how it felt.
Ok can we just take some time to adore this beautiful photo. You would swear these two were models in an upscale bridal gown catalogue. That dress, though, looks so stunning!
Isn’t this the sweetest? These two were so head over heels in love, it was magic when we just gave them some space and let them just be.
This Laramie wedding was SO Wyoming. Love the gorgeous and majestic rock formations in this one. Who says you have to stay still for portraits? These two were so natural in this set!
Because who doesn’t absolutely love a timeless black and white photo?
If you are anything like us you are totally obsessed with the bride’s bouquet at this Laramie wedding. The textures, the colors, even flowers we have never ever even seen before! Poppy’s truly outdid themselves for sure.
Not going to lie, after Phoebe’s wedding I totally ordered myself a pair of these stunning and unique earrings! I had never seen them before, aren’t they so cool?
True love at its absolute finest…
Love how free, lovely and just regal Phoebe looks in this one.
Such a beautiful couple, who planned THE best day.
Perhaps the only thing more stunning than that bouquet was Phoebe’s ring. So elegant, timeless and sparkly!
We loved their cake! Delicious and beautiful as well!
Aren’t these mini bundt cakes so adorable? I assure you they were absolutely delicious as well!
Custom stemware for the toasts is ALWAYS a good idea. Love how these had a colored element to them. These feel so bright and happy and well… totally Phoebe.
Who else is totally here for the whole donut wall trend? These two had such a beautiful and yummy display!
What a great idea to not only have a wedding hashtag but also invite friends and family to send their photos directly.
Toasts are always such a treat. Love hearing friends and family tell stories and wish the happy couple well!
Another first, these two toasted to Phoebe… as actual Toast! LOVE how hilarious this is.
Looks like Phoebe did too.
We don’t always see Mom’s and Dad’s toast but when they do it is always so heartfelt.
These two again lost in the moment.
Aren’t they just so perfect with one another?
Always laughing, always having fun, it was so much fun photographing this Laramie wedding.
It was so special how Phoebe planned not just ONE father daughter dance…
…but TWO!
Nate and his mother, sharing their special moment.
These two chose to play nice while feeding each other cake! Also you might remember seeing this same reception space for Alexis & Clay’s Ivinson Mansion Wedding love that you can choose to have just your reception there as well!
