So excited to get to show off Ruby & EJ’s gorgeous wedding. As wedding photographers in Wyoming it is always such a treat to head north in our beautiful state. Don’t get us wrong we do adore weddings close to our home town of Laramie but it is always nice to travel to somewhere a bi different as well. These two chose to say I Do in Ten Sleep, WY which is exceptionally beautiful. From their mountain top ceremony to their intimate ski lodge reception, photographing their wedding was one of the highlights of our season.
The love these two share is so real life and definitely forever. We had such a fun time capturing their day!
Without further ado here are some of our FAVES:
EJ got wedding ready in an amazing mountain cabin near the venue. He chose all black for his attire which had a luxury feel to it.
We are always a big fan of personal vow books. How amazing to preserve the words you’ve hand written to your true love.
A lot of wedding photographers in Wyoming use a lot of flash in their photography. We very much prefer natural window light whenever possible. Luckily EJ’s cabin was amazing!
We see a lot of custom hangers with wire spelling the bride’s new last name. Ruby’s wedding dress hanger was personalized but maybe even more classic and timeless. Oh and that dress though, stunning!

There was a lot of hustle and bustle at the lodge where Ruby got ready surrounded by friends and family. Love that she found herself a quiet space to compose her thoughts and hand write her vows.
Ruby’s mother and sister helped her to get into her stunning dress. Her sister had shared with us that not long ago Ruby had helped her into her own wedding dress. What a special moment.

Us wedding photographers in Wyoming are so spoiled. I mean look at that natural backdrop for their I Dos. Ten Sleep Wyoming is so beautiful.
Our bride and groom decided not to have their wedding party stand up at the front. This gave their ceremony an intimate elopement feel. Even their officiant stood over to the side so the two of them were in the moment with each other.
Reading their heartfelt private vows led to a lot of tears in the audience.
As wedding photographers in Wyoming one of the things we adore most about weddings is emotion. When the bride is just true to her emotion, in the moment it really showcases the FEELING behind that moment.
Rings going on make it official!
Ruby was just so stunning on her wedding day, the way she looked at her future husband during the ceremony really just shone with love and admiration.
First kiss and a lift down the aisle was a romantic and dramatic exit!
Don’t worry they weren’t really THAT close to peril, this portrait it pretty epic though. Thanks to the bride & groom for being up for our ideas.

EJ and Ruby are expecting a darling baby soon. What an amazing thing to celebrate as their happy family is growing even bigger!
As wedding photographers in Wyoming we try our best to not only capture the bride and groom but also the lovely scenery they fell in love with when selecting their venue. Tucked at the top of a ski run was this vast panorama of beautiful and rugged WY country. It was such a treat to photograph here.
That veil! Love how it filters the sunshine through and just adds an elegance and class to Ruby’s gorgeous dress. Many of our bride’s take their veils off for bridal portraits but we loved that Ruby kept hers on!

Custom toasting glasses and the most fun photo booth…
One trend we have been seeing a lot of wedding photographers in Wyoming are photo guest books. Often times there is a small binder to put your photo in for the bride and groom to see later. This is our first time seeing a custom bound book engraved with all the details of the day.

Ruby’s wedding ring was exquisite. Crystal clear, bright white and flawless for sure. EJ did such a great job selecting it for her!
EJ & Ruby entered their reception with a UFC intro by none other then Bruce Buffer himself.
Heartfelt toast from the maid of honor had everyone emotional.
Not to be outdone EJ’s best man gave an exceptionally thoughtful toast!
Love that the couple’s daughters also gave a speech.
Cutest toast ever, she was such a doll. This was directed at EJ who will be her new step Dad. Such a sweet moment.

These two had their first dance to an Ian Munsick song. It was beautiful the way they only had eyes for each other and became lost in the moment.

These two shared a last private dance once all of their guests had departed. This is a new trend we have been seeing as wedding photographers in Wyoming and we would love to make it a regular event. What a beautiful way to close out the perfect wedding day.
